beat the odds and the Bulls at Loftus
Blue Bulls come back strong but fail to steal the win
The Lions went to Loftus as underdogs, and
then surprised by beating the log leaders, the Bulls, 30-27 on Friday evening.
The Lions scored four tries to three, and were leading 20-13 at the break, after
scoring in the last moments in the first half with the scores level at thirteen
all, and then they went further ahead in the second half to lead 30-13 at one
stage, and then the Bulls fought back with two tries and threatened to steal the
match from the Lions, but luckily the Lions managed to keep them from scoring
any further after that and get a great win away from home. Willie Wepener with
