Lions 36 (24) vs Griquas 32 (5)

Lions hang on for victory over Griquas

Griquas come back strongly in second half

The Lions beat Griquas 36-32 in Kimberley on Saturday, scoring five tries to six, and thus earning five points from the match. I can't imagine that coach Eugene Eloff can be very happy with our performance in the second half, as we were leading 24-5 at the break and obviously must have had a shocking 2nd half.
