"The mass Exodus of promising junior rugby players out of South African rugby has begun.

No less than 18 school players of 2019 will play their rugby abroad in 2020. This will only cause the number of Saffas playing rugby abroad and representing other countries to accumulate in the near future. More than 300 South African's is already earning a living plying their trade overseas."

Schoolboys leaving end 2019:

Montpellier:
*Kade Wolhuter (flyhalf, Paul Roos) - WP CW, left out of the SA Schools squad
Marcell Muller (wing, Grey College)
Robbie Rodgers (prop, Paul Roos) - WP CW
Lesley Botha (centre, Grey College) - FS CW
Sergio Moreira (eighthman, Noordheuwel)

Toulon:
*FC Du Plessis (flyhalf, Grey College) - FS CW, left out of the SA Schools squad
Danwich Beukes (lock, Grey College)

Stade Français
Zeilinga Strydom (fullback, Garsfontein) - SA Schools
Werner Kruger (prop, Affies) - BBXV CW (2nd team)

Interesant om te sien van watter "background" die spelers kom as ek so na die vanne kyk van die spelers is dit duidelik dat "kwotas" sekerlik n inpak het op die besluit om te trek

Jan-Hendrik Wessels (prop, Grey College) - SA Schools

Ek het die outjie al n paar keer gesien speel. Hy is n absolute freak of nature. Hy speel loskop stut, en skrum n moerse hou. Hy het egter soveel spoed dat hy vleuels van agter af inhardloop.

Tydens die wildeklawer week het hy n drie gedruk waar sy losskakel die bal deurgeskop het, en hy beide affies se vleuels, sowel as sy eie heelagter geklop het na die bal toe, om die drie te druk.

Daai was teen PRG ,maar dit was nie Jan Hendrik nie, dit was die ander voorry Tielman Nieuwoudt.

Maar dis hartseer om te sien al ons top skolespelers vat pad. Dit gaan ons oor so 5 jaar byt.
