Met die dat die Rainbowcup moontlik nie met ons spanne gaan gebeur nie, vermoed ek enige kanse om sulke ouens te lok nie gaan gebeur nie.

 ja nee dit lyk asof ons net kyk na has beens en never have beens... Maar aan die ander kant is dit dalk nie so slegte ding nie... Met die Rainbow cup in gedrang kan 'n span soos die Bulle op 'n finansiele ramp afstuur met al hulle "ster" spelers wat sekerlik "ster" salarisse verwag...As alles eers bevestig is en ons definitief Pro16 speel volgende jaar, sal ek baie graag wil sien dat ons ernstig probeer om vir Sous terug te kry... Teen daardie tyd behoort hy al redelik geld te gemaak het en verlang dan dalk terug na sy familie in Brits... Ek dink 'n hardwerkende slot soos hy is die posisie wat die grootste verskil sal maak.

En as die kompetisie wel plaasvind hierdie jaar? Onthou, voor Sondag was alle indikasies dat dit begin oor 2 weke. Dan het Wp, Bulle en Sharks squads vol bokke, en ons..? Alberts en selfs Jannie dink ek het bewys hulle skuif leeus toe was geregverdig. Ek wil meer sulke kopies sien, dalk net meer ouens wat huidiglik nog die beste in hul posisie is, nie ouens baie na aan of verby die einde van hul loopbaan nie.

Wat ons reg gedoen het het nadat Akerman oorgeneem het, was om vertroue in 'n groep belowende jong spelers oor 'n tydperk van drie jaar te behou en 'n span op te bou. Tans verloor ons beste ervere spelers sowel as ons belowenste jong spelers en vervang hulle met of groot naam spelers wat op die drumpel van aftrede is, of spelers wat dit nie erens anders kon maak nie.

Ek sien Ruan Steenkamp (Stoney) is nou weg by Bulle en by Griekwas ... hy was n Leeu skole kaptein en n baie belowende losvoorspeler ... was destyd bitter kwaad toe hy by die Leeus basies weg geloop het onder junior kontrak en vir Tuks begin speel het ... maar ja nou is hy by Griekwas ... taai kalant!!Selfde met Chris Masyn op skool het ek ook gedink hy is die toekoms van Leeu rugby los voorspelers

The Bulls have got an overflow of quality loose forwards.. with Coetzee and Du Plessiss joinign soon... can see why he moved to qriquas.... that GIdeon van der Merwe playing at the Kwas is a great player, i would definitely look into luring him... still cant help but feel we are short on locks....
I see at centre Henco van Wyk has been playing for Wits in the varsity cup... very very talented player with huge potential... we have to keep him at all costs!
