And Ulengo grew up in Vryburg. His Afrikaans is probably better than his English

The Lions RugbyCompany and the Emirates Lions team want to support the fight against thebushfires in Australia and will be making a contribution to WIRES (WildlifeInformation, Rescue and Education Service).

It isimpossible to know how many animals have perished and it will be many monthsbefore the impact on wild populations can be better understood but ecologistsat Sydney University have estimated over 800 million animals have been affectedin Australia since September.

Everycontribution, no matter the size, will definitely make an impact and yoursupport would be greatly appreciated.

WIRES, based inNew South Wales, need urgent assistance to help with these unprecedentedemergencies.

The EmiratesLions will host a breakfast in Sydney ahead of their Vodacom Super Rugby matchagainst the Waratahs (Wednesday, 26 February). All proceeds of the event willgo to WIRES who have confirmed their attendance at the breakfast.
